A Little About Me

My husband and I have been married for over 35 years and have served together in ministry throughout that time. We have both served as youth ministers earlier on in our marriage. My husband has been a bi-vocational pastor for 32 of those years, during which I have served alongside him as women's ministry leader, music leader, and choir director while also homeschooling our own children. And in the middle of all that chaos, we somehow managed to get all three of them raised. (Talk about looking back and seeing God's hand!)My love of writing began in middle school and continued through high school. When I started college for a degree in music, life, ministry, and children took over, and the time for writing slowly faded into the business of life.When we "retired," I began homeschooling the second generation with my own grandchildren. I didn't really like the options I was given for some of the subjects, so I took it upon myself to write my own. That turned into putting my written material on a site for teachers, and it spiraled from there.Soon, I started a website where I'd occasionally post my devotions for others to read; then it was writing bible studies for children, and now I write study material and books for children. I'm currently in the process of writing my first Christian fantasy novel series, and to say I'm excited to pursue that lifelong dream is an understatement.I believe that each step that God has put in front of me has led me here. My prayer is that you or your child will be inspired and find joy in something that I've written. And for all of it, I give God the glory.Oh, and all my stories, devotions, and bible studies are written by me; not A.I.
